Summer sweet landscaped our front yard from a plan that we had . Eric and crew were very accommodating changing out parts of the plan we wanted different. They were out working the job with in three weeks even with a couple weather delays. They did a great job. We have a dry river bed with bridge that crosses over it, a water feature in the court yard , and really great looking plants. Eric's crew was outstanding, they paid attention to all the details and made sure everything was done the right way.

Eric the owner listen to what I had envisioned for my backyard and made it happen. He finished ahead of schedule and under his original estimate. I really appeciated his hands on appoach and attention to detail. I would recommend summer sweet to any one who wants a professornal job done right.

The project went so well; we are extremely pleased. Eric and his crew are flexible and creative, and they delivered high quality work. It was important to us - environmentally and financially - to reuse as much on-site material as possible. Eric not only understood this priority, but he suggested new opportunities throughout the project. It was a collaborative and organic process - not to mention enjoyable. Some of the other landscapers we met with were not as interested in conserving resources, so this stood out to us. The result is a yard with distinct features with a great story. For example, bricks from the territorial-style border that we removed several years earlier when we got a new roof and restuccoed the house have a new life in borders/edging, steps and a seating area.  

The crew did great work with impressive craftsmanship, and they checked in regularly with us and were quick to make any needed adjustments. They worked really hard; it was impressive how much they accomplished each day.  

We are working with Eric on the next phase (trees!) and then will complete the remaining planting ourselves. We highly recommend Summersweet Landscaping.

Eric worked with us to finalize a plan to redo our backyard, and he and his crew completed the work. (A remodeling project had left the backyard with some landscaping challenges). The project involved cutting up part of an existing concrete patio and reusing pieces (along with bricks we had onsite) in creative ways (such as a second seating area, paths and steps), building a low retaining wall with lighting, creating a second seating area, building a small deck, crusher fines for the pathways and drip irrigation and water line, clearing out a small side yard area and adding stepping stones and crusher fines and drip irrigation. This first phase was transforming a large, barren yard with drainage problems and other challenges into an interesting and inviting yard with multiple areas (And it's ready for trees and plants).

Summersweet was recommended to me by a company where I previously purchased crushed stone and gravel.

I checked their ?website and contractor's license before calling,?and was happy to see how professional they were, including the owner's?degree in?Horticulture and being in business since 1986. ?The company owner,?crew leader and workers were all wonderful throughout the project from listening to my plans to implementation/completion. ?They were good troubleshooters and solved problems with the connection from the drip system to the well. Although our?start date was delayed twice, once they arrived there was steady progress from start to finish and the job was quickly accomplished. ?Contacting the company by phone or email was always easy, and generated a quick response. ?My new garden is beautiful, should be easy to maintain, and will be enjoyed for many year to come.

Summersweet Landscapes converted a vegetable garden to a xeriscaped garden with shrubs, perennials, a paver platform for plant containers and St. Francis statue, and a?wildflower garden. They used existing materials from the prior garden, as requested (landscape rocks, railroad ties, pavers, etc.). Drip irrigation was?installed and crusher fines were distributed.. An addition to the contract included installing a new valve to the well and a new Rainbird?timer.?
